Let’s keep our neighbors safe and warm this winter.

So many local families are one emergency away from losing their housing. An unexpected medical bill. A car repair. These surprises can make you fall behind in rent. Every month, thousands of families come to Way Finders for help to keep them from losing their homes.

Last year, Way Finders served more than 67,000 western Mass individuals and families seeking housing help.

Won’t you help keep our neighbors safe and warm this winter?

Turn your donation into a tax break!

Invest In Community. Invest in Way Finders. Through a competitive funding program, the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities has allocated Community Investment Tax Credits (CITC) to Way Finders to be used to match donations of $1,000 or more from local residents and businesses.

  • The tax credit is equal to 50% of a donation of $1,000 or more made by a corporation, an individual or a nonprofit institution.

  • If you do not owe state income tax, the tax credit will be paid to you directly; it is "refundable."

  • Donors may also be eligible for federal tax deduction for their donation.

  • Eligible donations made during the current calendar year will result in a certificate of tax credits to be redeemed on this year's tax returns.
